RYA Level Two Training - National Powerboat Course
Assumed knowledge: none Course duration: two days (0900 - 1700) Minimum
age: 12* Next course: Safety Boat or
Intermediate
The level two course provides a solid foundation in all
aspects of powerboat handling. Whether you drive a high speed RIB,
sportsboat, ski-boat or displacement craft, this course will help build
confidence in boat handling skills. The course incorporates the
level
one course and so is suitable for anyone new to Powerboating. The maximum number of
students on a course is three and so everyone will get plenty of attention
from one of our professional instructors. An outline syllabus is shown below.

* 12-16 year olds will receive the following
endorsement The holder should only use powered craft under the
supervision of a responsible adult. Under 18s are very welcome on
powerboat courses, however 8-15 year olds must be accompanied by a
responsible adult and 16-17 year olds must have their booking form
countersigned by a parent or guardian. The course runs on the East Coast
Ipswich, Suffolk, Essex borders.
