RYA Day Skipper Shorebased and Practical Training

The qualifications that enable you to Charter and operate a vessel in foreign waters f you are keen to gain the Day Skipper certificates as quickly as possible then the nine day combined course is for you. Four days of shorebased training and five days on the water are interleaved to create a complete day skipper course.

During the course all accommodation and meals are provided on board on board the yacht. Shorebased tuition takes place in our comfortable classroom within the marina, while practical training is carried out in Ipswich and around the picturesque Essex Suffolk coastline.

Following successful completion of the course you will be awarded the RYA Day Skipper Shorebased course completion certificate and the RYA Day Skipper Practical course completion certificate. In addition we will award  you an ICC International Certificate of Competence The course begins on Saturday morning and finishes on Sunday evening nine days later, so both all three qualifications can be completed with only one week away from work
