RYA Competent Crew Training
You will learn how to hoist sails and trim them on all points of sailing, how to steer the boat under power and sail, and what to do in various emergencies. Although safety is an important part of the course, we also aim to have fun.

The
first level in the RYA Cruising scheme is Competent Crew. This course is
designed for those with very little or no sailing experience, and is
designed to make you into a useful crew member. 
You will live on board the yacht during the course, and
cruise around the local area during weekends, or venture further afield on
the 5-day courses.
